The Chinese Grand Prix™ is this weekend and we’ve got some great recipes for you to try! Malaysia was super exciting and we are stoked to see Ferrari back on the podium.
⇒ Can Ferrari really keep up again without the crazy high temperatures and endurance of Malaysia?
⇒ Red Bull is STILL pouting threatening to quit because they aren’t winning races!
⇒ Lewis, what’s going on buddy? I’m just saying, some interesting fashion statements lately.
Now for the track! The Grand Prix will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit in Jiading, Shanghai, China.
The track is in the shape of the Chinese letter Shang, which stands for “High” or “Above.”
Extra Track Facts:
⇒ Track touts the longest straight in Formula One at 1170 m
⇒ The only banked turn in F1, leading into that longest straight!
⇒ Expect 2-stop strategies in the Soft>Medium>Medium combo
⇒ Watch for overtaking in turn 14
Now for the menu!
Start the party with Sage’s awesome cocktails! She’s mixing up a mandarin orange-dark rum Dark Night with a Little Spice. Man are these good…
We also thought a fun tapioca shot was in order, so she created these Strawberry Tapioca Shots with some vodka and a touch of coconut.
The main attraction is the Hunan Spicy Ribs. These ribs are amazing, but no small feat to tackle in the kitchen. They take some time but are well worth your efforts!
Lion’s Head Meatballs are a Shanghai classic. We used ground turkey to switch it up a bit and they are fantastic!
Finally we did eggrolls 3 ways! We made the most out of one pack of wonton wrappers and encourage you to do the same.
Don’t even think about ordering take out! Happy cooking, race fans!
